Spider-Man is back for his third solo movie in the MCU, and he’s bringing the Multiverse with him!
Tom Holland is back as the web-crawler, alongside Zendaya’s MJ, and Jacob Batalon’s Ned. We’ll also get the returns of Marisa Tomei as Aunt May, Jon Favreau as Happy Hogan, and Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange.
This movie will involve cracks in the Multiverse bringing invaders from alternate realities, including a number of Spidey’s biggest foes – Green Goblin, Sandman, Jamie Foxx’s Electro, and Alfred Molina’s Dr. Otto Octavius, aka Doctor Octopus, aka Doc Ock.
Rumors are that we may also see Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield reprise their roles from the other Spider-Man franchises, meaning multiple Peter Parkers saving the day!
For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighborhood hero’s identity is revealed, bringing his Super Hero responsibilities into conflict with his normal life and putting those he cares about most at risk. When he enlists Doctor Strange’s help to restore his secret, the spell tears a hole in their world, releasing the most powerful villains who’ve ever fought a Spider-Man in any universe. Now, Peter will have to overcome his greatest challenge yet, which will not only forever alter his own future but the future of the Multiverse.
