Governor JB Pritzker has signed legislation that he says will make Illinois a leader in the growing field of electric vehicles.
The Reimagining Electric Vehicles… or REV… Act includes tax credits for businesses involved in the production of electric vehicles or the batteries that power them.
The new law is also geared at training workers for jobs in the electric vehicle industry and provides other incentives, with a goal of putting more than a million electric vehicles on Illinois roads by the year 2030.
