The Sangamon County Coroner is identifying the woman killed in a hit-and-run over the weekend in Springfield.
Alexandria Estrada’s body was discovered lying in the roadway Saturday night in the 12-hundred block of North Oaklane Road.
Investigators believe her injuries were consistent with being hit by a vehicle.
Officers later arrested Steven Mehundrew on multiple charges, including first-degree murder and reckless homicide.
