The Anti-Defamation League reports a dramatic rise in antisemitic incidents in Illinois in recent years; they logged just ten incidents in 2016 but 121 in 2022.
The institution also noted that they had documented four white supremacist events and a doubling of white supremacist propaganda distribution in the past year as well.
Illinois also reported 101 hate crimes in 2022, an 80% increase since 2020.
