The Citizens Club of Springfield will meet on Friday morning at 8:00.
Their guest speaker will be Mike Murphy, president and CEO of the Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce, who will discuss the history, mission and core values of the chamber, as well as chamber programs and challenges. The moderator will be retired reporter Bernie Schoenburg.
The event is free and will be held at the Hoogland Center for the Arts.
