The Biden Administration has approved Governor JB Pritzker’s request for FEMA assistance to support Cook County in recovering from severe storms from June 29 to July 2 this year.

But Cook County was not the only area affected by those storms.

Gov. Pritzker issued state disaster declarations for Sangamon, Morgan, Coles, Cook, Edgar, Hancock, McDonough, and Washington counties as well; there is no word yet on whether those counties will receive federal disaster relief or not.
