The Prysmian Group announced new subsidies from the state of Illinois and plans to break ground on the Group’s expanded facility in Du Quoin.
The expansion will enable the company to increase cable manufacturing for the renewable energy and electric vehicle sectors.
Prysmian Group plans to invest $63.8 million and create 80 new high-paying jobs while retaining 225 jobs in Southern Illinois.
