Lincoln, Illinois Mayor Tracy Welch appeared on the WHOW Morning Show Friday and said that he expects Lincoln College to reopen.
He said there were enough people committed to bringing the campus back to life to make it happen, but he was short on details about how the school might be different; cyberattacks and COVID-19 over the last several years stymied the institution, leading to its closure.
Mayor Welch said it won’t be exactly like Lincoln College as we’ve known it, but what it will look like remains to be seen.
