Many millions of dollars remain to be potentially won by a lucky soul or souls this weekend as the Mega Millions, Powerball, and Illinois Lottery prizes all continue growing.
While the Mega Millions jackpot for Friday night’s drawing is now at a massive $560 million – the seventh largest in the game’s history, the Powerball jackpot has, itself, swelled to a staggering $875 million for Saturday night’s drawing.
That is the third-largest Powerball jackpot and seventh-largest lottery jackpot in U.S. history.
Also, for Saturday night’s drawing, the Illinois Lotto jackpot is up to $19.4 million – the largest jackpot of its kind of the year and the second largest in nearly five; in combined prize money, that’s $1.454.4 billion.
