For those thirsty adults around Central Illinois, the Christian County Fair has a special event this coming Thursday and Friday evening.
On July 20 and 21 – from four to nine and ten at night, respectively – the Expo Building at the Taylorville Fairgrounds will be hosting a wine experience featuring some of the area’s most lauded wineries.
Pana’s Arpeggio Winery, Olney’s Fox Creek Vineyards, Lasta Wines of Lawrencville, and West of Wise of Petersburg will all be there, with glasses and bottles at the ready for those who enjoy what they’re trying.
Thursday’s music will include Dylan Blankenship and the Taylorville Music Band, while Friday’s fun will feature Antone Derocchi and Cody Bumgardner.
