An 8th-inning implosion by the St. Louis Cardinals bullpen led to a loss to the Houston Astros last night at Busch 10-7 in the final. Nolan Arenado, Paul Goldschmidt, and Brendan Donovan Homered for the Cards in the loss. The Cards and Astros wrap up their series tonight at Busch.

Jared Young and Dansby Swanson went deep, but it wasn’t enough as the Chicago Cubs fell to the Philadelphia Phillies last night at Wrigley 8-5. Cubs and Phillies wrap up their series tonight at Wrigley.

Seby Zavala homered twice, while Luis Robert and Eloy Jimenez homered once in the Chicago White Sox 11-5 win over the Angels in LA last night. Sox and Angels wrap up their series this afternoon in LA

Concerning minor league baseball, the Springfield Lucky Horseshoes and Rex Baseball had their game postponed yesterday due to air quality. The Shoes are in Burlington tonight to take on the Bees.

In the NHL draft last night, the Chicago Blackhawks took Connor Bedard with the number one overall pick. The Hawks then selected Oliver Moore with the 19th overall pick. The St. Louis Blues had three first-round picks last night, taking Dalibor Dvorsky at 10, Otto Stenberg at 25, and Theo Lindstein at number 29.
