It’s Sangamon County Fair time! The annual event in New Berlin opens Wednesday and runs through Sunday.
Among this year’s fair highlights will be the county fair queen pageant on Wednesday, a rodeo on Friday, a talent show and demolition derby on Saturday, and a tractor pull and the Little Miss Pageant on Sunday.
There will also be carnival rides and live music, including Blackberry Smoke and Stoney LaRue in the Grandstand Thursday night.
General admission is just $5 this year, with kids four and under admitted free. More information is available at sangcofair.com.
