A familiar name in downtown Springfield is making a comeback. The State Journal-Register reports Norb Andy’s Tabarin will reopen at its original home on Capitol Avenue, with its classic menu of burgers, tenderloins, and horseshoes.

The Norb Andy’s name dates back to the 1930s, when a tavern on the site was purchased by Norbert Anderson. The business operated under that name well into the 2000s, but saw a number of different owners and sporadic closures in recent years.

It was most recently renamed Anchors Away, but that business closed its doors in April.

There is no firm date yet for the reopening.
