The Laborers’ Disaster Relief Team, which responds to major disasters across Central Illinois, announces big donations to bolster the volunteer group’s efforts.
Speakers include Brad Schaive of Laborers Local 477, Frank Vala (who along with his wife made a personal $50,000 donation for the purchase of equipment trailers), Sherman Mayor Trevor Clatfelter, Sangamon County Sheriff Jack Campbell, Springfield Mayor Misty Buscher, and state Senator Doris Turner (D-Springfield).
