A familiar-looking vehicle is in town for the next couple of days – with a very unfamiliar name.
The vehicle formerly known as the Oscar Meyer Weinermobile is making several stops in the area through Saturday; it’s now being called the Frankmobile, as Oscar Meyer touts a new recipe for its all-beef franks.
The company isn’t saying yet if the change is permanent or just a temporary publicity stunt.
You’ll be able to see it at several County Market locations, including Sherman on Friday morning, South Sixth Street Friday afternoon, Dirksen Parkway Saturday morning, and Fairhills Mall on West Monroe Saturday afternoon.
