Be nice to your friends – one of them may be a secret millionaire.
The Illinois Lottery says a Sangamon County resident has come forward to claim a $1.1 million prize from the Lucky Day Lotto game.
The winner matched all five numbers drawn for the midday game on April 30; Tthe man has chosen to remain anonymous, but says he plans to use the winnings to purchase a new truck to replace his current one, which has 200,000 miles on it.
He also plans a family vacation to Hawaii, and says he and his wife will also make a donation to a local charity, the Visual Arts Association.
