The Sangamon County coroner has confirmed the death of a Springfield man who was injured in a motor vehicle crash on May 1.
41-year-old Kevin Crews was transported from the scene of the crash to Springfield Memorial Hospital, where he died on May 6.
An autopsy shows that Crews died of blunt force trauma from the crash. Springfield Police are continuing to investigate that fatal crash.
