City Water Light and Power is asking drivers to use caution around Lake Springfield.
CWLP crews have begun a pipe relocation project related to the installation of the utility’s new lime lagoons, which will hold byproducts of the water treatment process. The work is taking place from Spaulding Dam to the Spaulding Boat Launch.
While there will be no lane closures because of the work, crews will be close to the road, so drivers are urged to slow down and be careful near the work zone.
The project is expected to be completed by June.
