Two more Sangamon County residents have died in the past week of complications from COVID-19.
In just over three years since the virus first showed up here, 448 county residents have died of COVID-related illness.
There have been more than 77,000 total reported cases of the virus locally since the start of the pandemic.
Sangamon remains at a low level of community transmission, while 13 Illinois counties are listed at a medium level.
