The ribbon has officially been cut to open the newest exhibit at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum.

“Here I Have Lived: Home in Illinois” tells the stories of more than 30 Illinoisans, and how home and family here shaped their life choices and paths. Among those featured in the exhibit are former First Lady Michelle Obama, comedian Richard Pryor, Indian chief Black Hawk, and Louisa Phifer, who ran a farm and raised seven children while her husband fought in the Civil War.

The exhibit is included in museum admission and will run until January 21, 2024.
