It was rough night for the St. Louis Blues last night out in the desert as they gave up 4 goals in the 3rd period to lose to the Arizona Coyotes 6-2 the final. Jordan Binnington struggled mightily in net for the Blues making just 21 saves and giving up all 6 goals. Pavel Buchnevich scored both goals for the Blues in the contest. The Blues return home to the Enterprise Center tomorrow to host the San Jose Sharks.

On the ice tonight the Chicago Blackhawks look to make it 2 wins in a row as they are in Detroit to take on the Red Wings; puck drop is scheduled for 6:30p CT

In the NBA tonight, the Chicago Bulls have a tough task as they are in Denver tonight to take on the Western Conference-leading Nuggets. The Nuggets thus far this season are 30-4 at home. Tip-off for Bulls and Nuggets is set for 8p CT.

NFL news the Baltimore Ravens yesterday placed the non-exclusive franchise tag on QB Lamar Jackson. This means other teams are free to negotiate with Jackson but the Ravens could match any offer another team would give Jackson. If the Ravens decided not to match the offer, the team who signs Jackson would have to give the Ravens 2 first-round picks in exchange for Jackson.

Thus far no team has expressed interest in signing Jackson away from the Ravens.
