The Mega Millions jackpot has gotten even bigger ahead of the multi-state game’s Friday night drawing.
Continued strong ticket sales pushed the latest jackpot up to nearly $1.3 billion. It’s the biggest lottery prize in almost four years, and the third biggest in U.S. history. If no one matches all the winning numbers drawn Friday night, the next drawing would almost certainly set a new American record.
No one was won the Mega Millions top prize since mid-April.
