Governor JB Pritzker has gotten a warm reception from the party faithful after traveling to New Hampshire for a speech to that state’s Democratic Party convention.
Pritzker stumped in support of New Hampshire U.S. Senator Maggie Hassan and governor candidate Tom Sherman, both of whom are facing tough fights this fall.
While New Hampshire has often been a kickoff spot for presidential campaigns, fueling speculation about Pritzker’s ambitions, the governor’s staff says Pritzker is focused on his own re-election and supporting Democrats around the country who share his progressive values.
