Governor Pritzker is teaming up with the Illinois Housing Development Authority to provide nearly $75 million for housing development.
The money coming from the Covid-19 Affordable Housing Grant Program will go to 19 affordable developments that will create or preserve 1,023 units of affordable housing. The grant program is funded through relief dollars authorized from the American Rescue Plan Act in March of 2021.
