As a busy Memorial Day weekend draws to a close, Springfield is getting readier for an even busier week to come.
The Springfield Muni Opera’s first show since 2019 resumes Wednesday, with “The SpongeBob Musical” running nightly through Sunday. The Levitt AMP Concert Series returns Thursday in downtown Springfield.
Live music continues downtown Friday and Saturday with the Legacy of Giving Music Festival. And Saturday is the home opener for Springfield’s new minor league baseball team, the Lucky Horseshoes.
