Danville Man Sentenced To 106 Years In Prison For Murder

After a fatal shooting, a Danville man will be spending the next century in prison.

 

20-year-old Lamont Davis was charged in October 2021 by Illinois Attorney General Kwame Raoul’s office for the 2019 killing of 20-year-old Justin Daubaris. Raoul’s office alleges that on November 10th 2019, Davis and 2 other men stormed into an apartment on Hazel Street in Danville with firearms. Daubaris’ brother Jaleel Jones was shot in the hip, but escaped.

 

Daubaris confronted the 3 men and was shot in the back 3 times. Lamont Davis was sentenced to 106 years in prison.
