A former spokesperson for the Illinois State Fair will now serve as the new fair manager.
Rebecca Clark’s appointment took effect on New Year’s Day. Clark was the former public information officer for the Illinois Department of Agriculture, which oversees the annual fair in Springfield… and most recently was PIO at the Illinois Emergency Management Agency. She becomes only the second woman to serve as State Fair manager, after
Amy Bliefnick, who held the post from 2005 to 2014. Clark replaces Kevin Gordon, who retired as fair manager last year.
