Sangamon County continues to see an uptick in COVID cases as Thanksgiving week arrives and holiday gatherings get underway.
There were 136 new cases reported over the three-day period from Saturday to Monday… and the rolling seven-day average of cases is now back over 50 per day, more than double what it was earlier this month. The county has now had a total of more than 26,900 cases of the virus since the pandemic began.
