Hollywood has lost a legendary director of TV and film.
The man who was the genius behind Happy Days, Laverne & Shirley, and Mork & Mindy passed away due to complications of pneumonia.
In addition to giving us some of our most beloved sitcoms of the 70s, Garry Marshall was director behind some of the biggest movies in Hollywood including “Pretty Woman,” “Beaches,” “The Princess Diaries,” “Runaway Bride,” and, most recently, “Mother’s Day”
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Marshall, two sisters, Ronny Hallin and Penny Marshall, and three children, Kathleen, Scott and Lori. While the funeral will be private, the family is planning a memorial service on what have been his 82nd birthday on November 13th.
