A fire at a warehouse storing hazardous materials rocked China’s port city of Tianjin and the enormity of the blast was caught on film.
At least 44 people were killed and hundreds injured by huge explosions that happened shortly before midnight Wednesday (August 12th). Twelve of those killed were firefighters, among the more than 1,000 sent to fight the blaze set off by the explosions. The blasts originated at a warehouse for hazardous material, but there was no indication of what caused them.
The blast was so strong that the shock wave was still profoundly felt by the men filming it miles away.
