It’s common for people to drift apart after graduating from middle or high school. It’s also very common to run into that person later in life – although the circumstances are probably a little better than this individual.
During a court hearing in Miami – Judge Mindy Glazer felt that the person she was looking at through closed-circuit television looked familiar.
The man – Arthur Booth was appearing for a suspected burglary charge. Glazer acknowledged Booth saying “I always wondered what happened to you.”
A visually shocked Booth breaks down in tears on the stand – repeatedly saying “Oh my goodness!”
Judge Glazer tells the courtroom that this was her friend throughout middle school stating Booth was the “nicest kid” and politely tells Booth that she hopes he can turn his life around.
