Grab a tissue or two, Robin Williams’ final onscreen performance will definitely tug at your heart-strings.
Boulevard – the late comedian plays a man trapped in monotonous life and failing marriage. After meeting a young hitchhiker, Williams’ character begins to turn his life around for the better.
Film critic Peter DeBruge of Variety said that “this is one of the kindest characters Williams has ever played, which makes his self-imposed turmoil – the consequence of not wanting to hurt anyone, least of all his wife – all the more tragic.”
Boulevard ended filming shortly before Williams committed suicide last August.
The film will be released on July 10.
